Steam Turbine

Many older coal steam plants are being operated beyond their planned life expectancy and over a wide range of conditions in order to be profitable.  Accurate control is even more important then before, as utilities implement new operating strategies to accommodate environmental and/or power market requirements.  Better performance throughout the steam turbines operational life reduces wear and tear and improves cost efficiency. TC&E is dedicated to ensuring that our customer’s control systems are being properly maintained to maximize availability and reliability while minimizing impact on maintenance and capital budgets.

Gas Turbine

The requirements for gas turbine systems control are among the most challenging in the utility industry.  To manage and maintain gas turbines in a safe and cost effective manner requires highly skilled personnel who understand both the turbine operations and the controls system used to support it.
TC&E can provide those highly skilled personnel to perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, start up support and even DLN tuning.  Our field engineers understand not only your turbine controls, but how your turbine fundamentally operates with all of the accessory skids and plant BOP.

TC&E specializes in GE industrial gas turbine control systems. From LM6000 aero units to large frame 7FAs, our gas turbine controls field team is among the industry’s most experienced engineers.  We can help support any combination of gas turbine and associated control systems as listed here.
